John Domingue
KMi, The Open University and STI International
Prof. John Domingue is the Deputy Director of the Knowledge Media Institute at The Open University and the President of STI International, a semantics focused networking organization with 50 members. He has published over 160 refereed articles in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and the Web and his current work is focused on how semantic technology can automate the management, development and use of Web services. Currently he serves as the Scientific Director of SOA4All a 13M Euro project which aims at creating a Web of billions of services. Prof. Domingue is also Chair of the Steering Committee for the European Semantic Web Conference Series, and Co-Chair of the Conceptual Models of Services Working Group within STI. Within the Future Internet arena he helps coordinate the Future Internet Service Offer Working Group within the Future Internet Assembly – a collaboration between over 100 European projects with a combined budget of over 600M Euros aiming to develop a next-generation Internet. Prof. Domingue is also serves on the editorial boards for the Journal of Web Semantics and the Applied Ontology Journal.
Elena Simperl
University of Southampton
Dr. Elena Simperl work as a senior lecturer at the Web and Internet Science (WAIS) group at the University of Southampton. Her research interests include knowledge engineering, Social Web technologies, and crowdsourcing. She has contributed and lead over 15 national and European research projects and authored more than 75 scientific publications, and chaired the European Semantic Web Conference in 2011 and 2012. Elena initiated several activities targeted at the supervision and guidance of doctoral students and young researchers such as the PhD Network Berlin Brandenburg, and the Knowledge Web PhD Symposium series organized at the European Semantic Web Conference ESWC since 2006. Further educational activities include the lecture of Master and Bachelor courses at the Free University of Berlin, University of Innsbruck, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, the founding and organization of the ESWC summer school; the Asian Semantic Web School; the IEEE Summer School on Semantic Computing; and the Semantic Web Services Winter Retreat; as well as the management of the education service within Semantic Technologies Institute International (STI), an association bringing together major players in the fields of semantic technologies, and co-founder of semsphere GmbH, a professional training company in the same area.

Aneta Tumilowicz works as Administration Coordinator in Knowledge Media Institute where (among other responsibilities) she is responsible for both administrative coordination and financial monitoring of all Prof Domingue's projects funded by European Commission (in FP7 framework)

Fabian Flöck
Karlsruhe Institute of Technology
Fabian Flöck is a research associate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) at the Institute AIFB. Before pursuing his academic career at KIT, he worked as head product manager for a Social Network and as a consultant on interface and technical web design. He holds a Diplom in Media Studies / Media Sociology from the University of Cologne. His research focuses on how the social dynamics in large-scale collaborative online platforms shape the performance of these systems. This includes research work on socio-technical interactions in Tagging Systems, Crowd-Sourcing solutions (including their application for improving the Semantic Web), as well as his main research topic, studying how certain behavioral mechanisms in Wikipedia can influence content production and how they can be made more transparent through end-user tools.
